Phentermine and Pregnancy - Is Phentermine Safe For Your Baby?

By Ian Mason Obesity is the main problem during pregnancy and may lead to diabetes in pregnant women. As per the latest survey carried out by the various research teams, there are no side effects of Phentermine in case of pregnant women if it is taken as per prescribed doses. But if the doses of Phentermine are consumed in large quantity, there is a risk of abnormal development of foetus, so to reduce these risks, prescribed doses needs to be followed in proper manner under strict vigilance of the doctor. But it is an advice to the pregnant women that they should avoid Phentermine during pregnancy period because it may lead to gestational diabetes. Sometimes Phentermine can cause various withdrawal symptoms in case of pregnant women. To avoid all these side effects, Phentermine should be stopped before start of pregnancy stage and doctor needs to be consulted for more information about Phentermine. In case of breast-feeding mothers, Phentermine is to be avoided, so that the newborn baby is safeguarded from various side effects. As Phentermine is from the family of sympathomimetic amines and it is almost similar to the Adipex-P, pregnant women should avoid taking Phentermine. This may lead to an addiction if the doses of Phentermine are taken in large quantities. If doctor permits you to go ahead with Phentermine during pregnancy period, you should gradually reduce the dose to avoid the symptoms of withdrawal. Before opting for Phentermine, please go through the instructions and quantity of doses written on the leaflet. Do not follow self-medication practice, it may result in abnormalities. Along with above stated abnormalities, there are various side effects of Phentermine during pregnancy period and they are as follows. Phentermine may lead to allergic reactions during pregnancy stage. You may feel abnormality in breathing. Throat choking in pregnant women is a common side effect of the Phentermine. It might lead in swelling of lips and face. Phentermine may lead to risk of abnormal babies. Phentermine may cause abnormal heartbeats and the risk of high blood pressure. Headache and the dizziness occur in case of pregnant women due to Phentermine. Diarrhea and constipation are other minor side effects of the Phentermine, in case of pregnancy. The common and minor side effects in pregnancy are soar throat, confusion, anxiety, insomnia and the abnormal taste. There is also a risk of impotency due to the Phentermine. Basically Phentermine is a type of medication that is used for reducing the appetite and obesity as it simulates the nervous systems in case of pregnant cases. In general, Phentermine is not recommended for pregnant women as losing weight may lead to under-weight babies or with abnormality such as neural defect in which the spinal has abnormality. In case of such problems, it is better to get examined to have a healthy baby. The examinations or tests recommended by the doctor are ultrasound examination, which enables to check the physical behavior of the baby in mothers womb. Even this ultrasound can provide complete details of the head and the spinal cord of the baby. In such cases Phentermine should be stopped immediately. Women who breast-feed their babies should also avoid taking Phentermine as the contents may pass on to the baby through the milk and may affect the health of baby. Tremors and agitation may occur in baby due to breast milk because the main function of Phentermine is to stimulate the central nervous system and that may lead to side effects. Before breast-feeding, mothers who plan to take the dose of Phentermine, should consult with the doctor. All of the above information regarding side effects and disorders during pregnancy is only a guideline and not to be treated as authority for the Phentermine users. Readers are advised to discuss the issues with their doctor before opting for Phentermine. Learn more about Phentermine and talk with mothers who have used Phentermine at PhenForum.com. How Does Sugar Content in the Bloodstream Affect Weight Maintenance?

By Foras Aje Research has shown that the main thing the body runs on for energy is carbohydrates (aka blood sugar) That stated, the irony at present is that when burning off calories or simply needing the fuel to exercise to shed a few pounds or to keep them in check, the body does turn to blood sugar for this cause. Furthermore, the presence of blood sugar in the system is what keeps the metabolism running which in itself helps to a degree to keep the weight down. So, from glancing at these two factors, one can see that indeed there is a link between keeping a healthy amount of sugar (in the form of healthy carbohydrates) in the blood stream and exercising to lose weight. Now, the next question might be, how do I ensure to get enough healthy blood sugar levels to aid with weight loss? Well, the safest best will be organic, seasonal fruits (or at least fruits that are not in the dirty dozen list) Their impact of sugar content in the bloodstream on weight maintenance would be the most naturally occurring from all foods, furthermore owing to their broom-like qualities, they are undoubtedly the best in regards to clearing out the toxic substances in the colon. On the subject of the colon, lets have it known that one may house up to 10-15 pounds of eliminated feces, so let the reader do the math. That considered, if you desire to satisfy your sweet tooth and still lose weight and gain improved health and muscle tone, why not try re-discovering the sweetness of fruits. If that sounds too boring, then get creative with fruit smoothies; Barhi dates blended with your choice of bananas, apples and some green coconuts can hands-down beat any smoothie out thereand its cheaper too. So, equip yourself with the benefits of using fruits to monitor your sugar content in the bloodstream for weight maintenance through exercising. Earthworms in the Garden/Earthworm Facts

By Francis Kilkelly Notice the lowly earthworm, squirming away, going about its everyday business. Simple creatures you may think but they have quite a important use in the garden. Did you know the earthworms are nature’s first gardeners? They don’t exist just for kids to eat and fishermen to use as bait :) Some Basic Earthworm Facts Earthworms are present in almost every type of soil but the healthier the soil the greater the numbers. A healthy soil permits lots of air and moisture, both of which are needed by the earthworm for a continued existence. Earthworms have no lungs like you or me but instead breathe through their skin. Their whole skin absorbs oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. They also need moisture to assist them in respiration but too much moisture is not good for them. There are four types of earthworm that you may run into: Nightcrawlers: 8 to 10 inches long and the fisherman’s favourite. Garden Worms: 5 to 7 inches long and found commonly in damp soils. Manure Worms: 4 to 5 inches long and found in manure rich soils. Red Worms: 3 to 4 inches long and the most commercially available. Why Earthworms in the Garden? A garden without earthworms would miss out on all of the great benefits that they bring to it. Their first job is to till the soil by tunneling through it. Tunnels created allow air and moisture to pass easily through the soil, creating a healthy environment for plants. Tunnels retain water that the plants can take up and also hold air to help bacteria break down organic matter within the soil. After digestion earthworms produce excrement about the size of a pin head. This excrement is called “castings” or “vermicompost” and is an excellent soil conditioning material. It improves properties of the soil such as porosity and moisture retention, aids plant growth and helps in the fight against pests and diseases. Increasing Earthworm Population in the Garden How does one go about increasing the number of earthworms in their garden soil? Well the best way to do so is to add more organic matter to the soil. Earthworms cannot get enough of the stuff.and will seek it out wherever they can find it. Finally… The earthworm is just as important to the garden as the gardener that maintains it because they till the soil and add a soil conditioner in the form of castings. They are as much a gardener as you are. The next time you see one wiggling on the ground in front of you bend down and say “got any good gardening tips?” You never know it may answer :) I will leave the final word to a one Charles Darwin who once had this to say about the earthworm: “The plow is one of the most ancient and most valuable of man’s inventions; but long before he existed, the land was in fact regularly plowed and still continues to be thus plowed by earthworms. It may be doubted whether there are many other animals which have played so important a part in the history of the world, as have these lowly organized creatures.” Francis Kilkelly runs a popular home and gardening community at GardenStew.com, containing gardening forums and gardening blogs. Your Options in Car Financing

By Joseph Kenny There are so many car financing options available how do you know which one is right for you? Read on to obtain information about all of the different options available and how to determine which one will provide you with the best benefits. Many people take advantage of an option known as dealer financing. This is when you handle the financing of your new vehicle directly through the lender. Now, that doesnt necessarily mean youll be making your payments directly to the dealer. Usually, they work with a finance company to provide the financing to you. There are definitely some benefits to this option. First, depending on your situation you may be able to obtain extremely low interest rates; in some case you may be able to obtain a zero percent interest rate. In order to obtain this special rate; however, you will need to have excellent credit with no problems. If you have any problems at all on your credit history you will not qualify for the special interest rate although you will probably be able to still obtain a loan; just at a higher rate. When your credit report is not perfect ask yourself whether you could get a better deal at a bank. Bank financing is an option that is typically available as long as your credit history is good. This means it doesnt have to be perfect but you shouldnt have any major flaws either. If you have already worked with the bank in the past this will increase your chances of obtaining a loan. While a bank interest rate may not be as low as what a car dealer can offer for individuals with excellent credit, it may be better than what you could obtain at the dealership if your credit is only good. Another option you may wish to consider is credit union financing. Of course, this option is only available if you belong to a credit union. If you do happen to have a credit union membership; however, the rate available to you may be much better than what you can obtain through a bank or dealership. These days it is also quite easy to simply go online and surf around for a quote from an online lender. This option has become so popular many lenders are now willing to compete with one another and offer very attractive rates. In the event you do not have perfect credit, this can be a good option for you; just make sure you fully understand all of the terms of the loan before accepting it. Another option would be to simply borrow the funds from a family member of friend. Of course, this is extremely risky because it could cause problems in your relationship in the event that you run into a problem with the payments. But, if you cant obtain a loan elsewhere because of credit problems this may be a good option. Finally, you may wish to consider refinancing your home or taking out a home equity loan in order to finance the cost of your new home. This basically allows you to pay cash for your vehicle with the proceeds of the loan and then paying back the money through the refi loan. In some cases you may be able to get a better interest rate with this route than you would with a traditional bank auto loan. In addition, the interest you pay on the loan is tax deductible. Like other options; however, there are some disadvantages. With this option, be aware that you could be putting your house at risk, not just your car, if you run into a problem and cant make the payments in the future. Modern Black Hair Styles - How To Choose The Right One For You

By Michael Barrows No matter whether or not whether your favorite black hair style is braided, curly, locks, sleek and straight, short and funky or twisted and intricate, there are a few things that you should consider before deciding on what black hair style to choose for your next do. Due to the versatility of the black hair style and black hair in general, ethnic hair styles include some of the most intricate and beautiful hair creations to be found among fashion-conscious people today. While many compete to make their black hair style more elaborate and beautiful than the next, many fail to observe basic hair styling fundamentals, which are vital to ensure that a black hair style compliments the wearer rather than detracts from his or her personal beauty. Black hair style fundamentals When choosing the right black hair style for you, it is important to pay special attention to your facial features and bone structure. The right black hair style can take the most beautiful facial features you have and make them absolutely stunning. The wrong black hair style, on the other hand, can completely mask those features and may even highlight features you would rather hide. When choosing the perfect black hair style for your unique look, stylists should take into account your build. For example, close cropped black hair styles would not suit a person with a large frame, nor would a full-bodied black hair style compliment a person with a small frame. Making sure that your style and frame balance is the key here. Stylists also should look at your face shape when choosing the best black hair style for you. There are five basic face shapes: oval, heart, round, square and triangular. All of these shapes can be beautiful, but one is ideal: oval. No matter what shaped face you have, achieving the perfect look involves picking the right black hair style that will make your face appear more oval. Oval face shapes are identified by the perfect symmetry of certain facial features, such as the distance from the hairline to the bridge of the nose (between the eyes), from the bridge of the nose to the lips, and from the lips to the bottom of the chin. If your face is oval shaped, you will have a host of options when it comes to choosing your black hair style. This shape is the only one that is complimented by almost every black hair style imaginable. The oval shape is perfect for corn rows, braids and all other popular black hair styles. Heart shaped faces are usually broader through the forehead and taper to a point at the chin. You can make this shaped face appear more oval by positioning the weight of the black hair style at chin level, or by wearing bangs in shorter black hair styles. Keep in mind that the goal is to minimize the forehead and to bring prominence to the chin. Round faces are just that: round. They have wide cheekbones and are usually smaller through the forehead and chin. The goal here is to minimize the cheekbones. Black hair styles with height in the bang and sides cut toward the face usually work best. Square faces have a bold forehead and an angular jaw line. Black hair styles with soft edges, and a great deal of texture directed toward the face really suit this shape. The length should be kept longer than jaw length to draw attention away from the jaw, but, at the same time, that length should be layered. A straight, sleek black hair style would only serve to accent the angular lines of the face. Triangular shaped faces are angular at the jaw line, but narrow through the forehead. They can be treated much the same way that square faces are treated, with one exception; more height and fullness is needed throughout the crown and bang areas of the black hair style to make this section of the face appear larger. Now that you know what types of black hair styles to choose to make you look your best, the only limits are your imagination and your stylist’s creativity. How To Lose Belly Fat

By Dominic Ferrara No one has ever been lured into a relationship by a flabby pot belly. Nor has anyone extended their life with a big tummy. That belly fat doesn’t enhance the fit of your clothes. With all the tempting fast foods and a busy life, what are you to do? If you want to lose belly fat, you can. With a careful diet and consistent moderate exercise, you can lose belly fat, and keep it off! The most common mistake people make when trying to lose belly fat is thinking that starving themselves will work. If you don’t eat but exercise strenuously, you’ll find yourself drained, hungry and still not losing weight. Another common strategy is to eat very little but fail to exercise. This approach won’t lose that belly fat either. The body doesn’t operate that way. With inadequate food, your metabolism slows to compensate for the lack of food. So fat will be burned, but much less than with a combination of diet and exercise. The secret to losing that fat is to reduce food portions, and get daily exercise. You can eat whatever you want, as long as it’s nutritious and portions are smaller. Smaller portions allow you all the tastes you already enjoy, but because you’re eating less, your body will be a fat burning machine without the awful side effects and dangers of starvation. If you’re going to consume 1500 calories per day, then a half-hour of belly exercise will be enough to slowly burn weight. If you want to ramp it up, then increase the amount of exercise as you see fit (pun intended). But half an hour of belly exercises are usually hard enough for a person to do. Why is this? Why does it seem harder to lose belly fat than anywhere else on your body? It’s not that you aren’t burning fat, it’s just that the stomach naturally has more padding. Also, when people try to lose belly fat, they usually aren’t making the most of their exercise program. They stop between sit-ups, which slows down the fat burning process. Instead, when you exercise, go all the way through the routine, stopping only when absolutely necessary. Another effective way to lose belly fat is to do twists. Standing with legs apart, twist the upper half of your body from side to side, with arms stretched out to the sides. Toe-touches are also a good exercise. These all promote a smaller waist and flatter tummy. When you start your diet and exercise program, remember not to slack off. Missing just one day will lead to missing “just” two days, and soon you’re eating burger after burger while breaking that couch in a little more. After you lose fat, don’t stop your exercise program. Now you’re fit, so keep yourself that way! Blue Ribbon Barbeque - a Great Place to Eat

By John Gibb Are you a fan of barbeque? When was the last time that you visited a GOOD barbeque restaurant? Well, if those questions are of interest to you then I have something really interesting to talk to you about: the Blue Ribbon barbeque restaurant! Naturally, I wouldnt spend any time writing a review about a restaurant, even if I was very satisfied with it. Blue Ribbon however, is an exception to this rule. I am more than happy that I once took the descision to eat there. After that day, I visit it as many times as possible; sometimes, several times a week! The first thing that will strike you about this restaurant is that its very simple and clean. The ambience is really casual, I like it. If you are a maniac about what you eat Blue Ribbon has a great surprise for you, the kitchen is wide open so you can have a good look at what you are going to eat! I find this to be a great advantage over the other restaurants because I am always concerned about what goes down my stomach. Furthermore, the next time that you are going to hear about a restaurant where they cook/serve irresponsibly you will know that it hasnt happened to you. Regarding the food, its great and the variety is vast! Honestly, I havent eaten such a tasty barbeque food for years! They definitely have a very adept chef in there; Im sure about that, my stomach tells me! The prices are very good too; you will get great quantities of quality food for a very reasonable price. In fact, most of the times not only will your stomach be full but you will also get to take home enough left over to eat the next day. I really recommend visiting this restaurant. Its not just one or two things that make this restaurant so great. Everything that makes up this restaurant is so beautifully linked to the other aspects of it that you will never consider going to another barbeque place. Honestly, if you are a hard to persuade person then you should look for yourself; I guarantee that you would thank me and buy me a dinner if you ever had the chance to meet me there (and if I had a magic, little cloud above my head signing this is the guy who wrote that review! of course!)! Squeezing the Best Out of Your Kids by Reading Books

By Paul Heitman Providing age appropriate books are very important. Children who cannot read and depend on you to read to them require books that have bright colorful pictures so the child can identify characters that you are reading about. Older children who are able to read may prefer chapter books that do not have as many picture in them. Teenagers who love to read prefer to have novels or books that do not have any pictures at all. When a child reads, they are gaining knowledge. A child views the contents of books differently than an adult. Children use their imaginations and if the parent has an imagination, they can use it to play the what if game with the contents they have read. It is not only fun to read books it can also be educational. Children are not born reading. It is a skill that must be taught. There are some children who can teach themselves to read by parents reading the same story over and over again. They learn to recognize the words and soon they are reading on their own. This impresses many parents. Reading is something that is taken for granted; you use this skill every moment of your life. The more you encourage your child to read, the better their chances of having a successful life. At work you use reading skill to gather important data, to write a business report and even when you are driving home. Providing different types of reading materials will assist your child with language skill because you are exposing them to a larger vocabulary. It is very easy for you to explain what the new words mean, and your child is gaining a wealth of information. When you read to your child aloud, you are also assisting them in the proper pronunciation of the words. Your child will soon be using the new words that they have learned not only in sentences, but also in the right context. Books provide hours of reading enjoyment for children of all ages. They are able to use their imaginations and dream of far away places. From pirate ships to fairy princesses, there are millions of books for kids of all ages. Teaching your kids the importance of reading when they are young will give them the fundamental basics that will assist them throughout their lives. How To Choose The Right Wedding Videographer

By L Hayes One of the best ways to help you, family members, and friends remember your wedding is by having a video of the entire event created. While many couples rely on family and friends to record the wedding day using camcorders, you should consider the services of a professional videographer. These professionals will shoot video that comes complete with titles, editing, the correct lighting, and many other factors that create the perfect wedding video. Here are a few tips on how to choose the right wedding videographer. The price of hiring a videographer varies. The more time the videographer spends filming the wedding and reception, the more it will cost. Keep in mind that angles and coverage are important. Therefore, you should consider the number of cameras you want filming your wedding. While it may seem like one camera would be sufficient, using multiple cameras will provide several different points of view. As an example, two cameras at your wedding could focus on both the bride and grooms’ faces during the ceremony. As a final product, the videographer will splice the angles together, giving you close-ups, guest reactions, and other things that might be missed with just one video camera. Editing should be considered as well. Since not all wedding videos are created equal, neither are wedding videography professionals. The truth is, editing capabilities are what sets one professional apart from another. Even so, excellent editing takes time. To ensure you end up with an incredible video, it is essential that you avoid trying to save money on the editing process. This way, you will have a video that looks very similar to a professionally shot television program. Unfortunately, finding a good editor can be tricky. Depending on the videographer hired, he or she may do the editing or it might be sent out to a second professional. For this reason, you want to ask every videographer interviewed to provide you with samples of their previous work. This way, you can see for yourself what the final product looks like. Of course, a part of the interviewing and selection process should also include references. When you ask for references, make sure they are wedding specific, not references for birthday parties, family reunions, and so on. In summary, hiring a videographer may seem like a simple matter, but there is a vast difference in the type and quality of services offered. A good rule of thumb is to know the kind of video you want. For example, a simple one-camera view or multiple angles like on TV will vary in price. Knowing this information ahead of time will help with your overall decision. Remember, you do not have to be a professional to hire a videographer but doing some research and checking references will be a key to your success. How to Create a Marketing Plan that Delivers Results

By Jules Sowder When taking a road trip to a new destination, smart travelers invest preparation time to identify the best route, make note of rest stops, research hotels and restaurants that satisfy their needs and budgets, check weather conditions, and so on. In other words, they have a thoughtfully developed plan before they go. Their plan may change along the way based on opportunities or circumstances beyond their control. Yet, they are equipped to effectively handle the unforeseen and make the most of their situation. For marketing achievement, youve got to have a road map to reach your destination. A carefully researched and developed plan, with quantifiable objectives and measurement systems, is essential to success. Without a plan, you wont know how to get where you want to go — and you may not even know when youve arrived. To help with your planning process, here are the essential elements that every marketing plan should have. The more detail you provide in your plan, the greater precision in your execution. And that leads to better outcomes. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Think of this section as the cliff-note version of your plan with emphasis on strategies designed to meet your objectives. Write this section as the last thing you do before plan completion. OBJECTIVES Each objective needs to be specific and measurable based on the mission and goals of your organization. Here are some examples of quantifiable objectives and how success is measured. Increase gross sales by $450,000 by June 30, representing a 10% increase over prior year. (Measurement: June 30 sales reports) Achieve a customer retention rate of 80% by year end. (Measurement: Customer retention reports) Increase awareness and recall by 5 points among three target audience segments. (Measurement: Monthly customer awareness research) SITUATION ANALYSIS This section discusses your organization and the environment or marketplace in which you compete. It should include the following. Background on your organization and product, mission, descriptions of current product and/or services, performance results, market share, strategic alliances, etc. Current and future competition with information on proven and forecasted impact How you are perceived by your customers relative to the competition Current customer information (i.e. number, description, spending levels, motivations, etc.) A list of your strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats (also referred to as a SWOT analysis) TARGET AUDIENCES Fully understanding your new and existing customers and their needs and desires is at the core of every successful marketing plan. For each target audience, detail in your plan demographic information, buying behavior, motivation, price sensitivities and other pertinent information related to your product or service. This section provides the high level strategic view or approach you will use to achieve your objectives. Be sure to include specific information on: Product or Service Strategies — including changes and enhancements Pricing Strategies detailed by target audiences and competitors Distribution Strategies channels or methods by which you deliver and make your product available to your customers Marketing Strategies your approach to communicating and getting the message heard by your target audiences MARKETING ACTIONS This section drills down to specific initiatives that relate to your marketing strategies. For example, you will want to include details on marketing methods (i.e. web, print and broadcast advertising, public relations, promotions, telemarketing, direct sales, referral programs, partnership programs, etc.), timing, budgets, and other key information that relates to the implementation of each action step that supports each strategy. OTHER INFORMATION You may want to add an appendix or other categories to your plan for key information that adds value to your plan document. For example: Short and long-term financial projections Calendar of action steps Research data that supports your strategies Organizational charts List of suppliers or vendors that will support your initiatives This article was written by Jules Sowder, an executive marketing advisor with 20-years of experience developing strategic marketing and sales solutions for large corporations, start-up companies, and small businesses.
